My style is often experienced as warm, thoughtful and collaborative. I value working with diverse individuals and creating a safe space in which you can experience personal growth and healing.
Background
Prior to becoming a psychologist I worked as a school teacher in a children's hospital. I found meaning in helping young people and their families cope with the profound stress of medical problems and hospitalization. I also saw how psychological interventions are incredibly important and can be life changing. This inspired me to go into the field of clinical psychology. I enjoy my work as a therapist immensely and feel honored to be given the opportunity to help others cope more effectively with stress, medical and mental health challenges.
I am a Bay Area native. I enjoy gardening, and spending time with family and friends, and taking my dog for long walks.
